Memorial Services for Mr. Joel Lee Abna, age 68 of Lineville, will be on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 7:00 P.M. They will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until service time at 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Abna died peacefully at his residence on Friday, June 9, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 17, 1954 to the late Donald E. and Mary Ann Abna. He graduated from Vocational School and had a 2 year Associates Degree, and worked as an electrician and small engine specialist for most of his life. He enjoyed sitting on his porch talking with his friends, and could fix anything broken. He will be missed by each one and remembered as a truly good, loving, and generous man.
Mr. Abna is survived by two sisters: Melissa Abna of Tyrone, GA and Beth Paul of Macon, GA; nephew, Darryl Paul (Brenda) and their daughter Felicity; Niece, Hannah Rule (Patrick); also like family: Jamie Griffin and family, Lisa Douglas and Spences: Josh and family, Katelyn and Isabelle, Grace, Kristin, Abigail, and Carolyn Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Kelleen Wolfe, and his brother-in-law, David Paul.
