Funeral Service for Joel Keith Melson, age 57, of Altoona, will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jim Deason and Cody Hairston officiating; interment in Aldridge Grove Cemetery

Mr. Melson passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at his residence. He was born November 3, 1961, to Dee Ford and Sara Melson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Sara Melson; sons, Brian Melson and Kyler (Katie) Melson; daughter, Jessica (Tyler) Vaughn; granddaughter, Ryleigh Vaughn; and sisters, Kathy Oliver, Gaye Hamilton, and Laura Warnke.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
