Mr. Joel Brown Davis, age 72, husband of Patricia Roberts Davis, and a resident of Clifton, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Thomas Midtown.
Born on September 16, 1951, in Columbia, Tennessee, Joel was the son of the late Mark Luke Davis and the late Ernestine Hendricks Davis. He worked as a body man for Elmer’s Paint and Body in Florida and later for Good Ole Boys Auto Body in Linden, Tennessee for many years. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and getting together with friends and family at bonfires and cook outs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Samantha (Timothy Yoe) Davis, Tanya Phillips, Virginia Harbin, and grandchildren, Rorrii Cross, Tristin Holt, Dominic Heard, Killian Heard, Jaxons Yoe, Gage Harbin, Devon Harbin, A.J. Phillips, BriAnn Boruszewski, Jonathan Stanfield, and Chance Hollifield.
It was Joel’s wish to be cremated with no public service. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
