Funeral service for Joe Y. Puckett, 79, will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J. Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Puckett died on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born November 18, 1938, in Morgan County to Joe Warren Puckett and Majorie Yancey Puckett. Mr. Puckett was the owner and operator of Puckett’s Plumbing and Electrical Repair. He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church and a member of the Cattlemen’s Association, He loved his farm, raising cattle and hay and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son: Phillip Puckett.
