Joe W. Dunnivant, 91, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lillian Dunnivant; and one sister, Ruby Adcock. Mr. Dunnivant was a lifetime member of Somerville Road Church of Christ. He worked for Alabama Farmers Co-op for over 40 years. Mr. Dunnivant retired at 62 then worked for Point Mallard Golf Course.
Mr. Dunnivant is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorene C. Dunnivant; two daughters, Linda Ayers and Brenda (Al) Quinn; one son, Jeff (Maryanne) Dunnivant; one niece, Peggy (Ted) McNatt; one nephew, Billy Wayne (Sherry) Adcock; five grandchildren, Ryan Ayers, Coleman (Amy) Hill, Amanda (Matthew) Greenlee, Chris (Kristy) Dunnivant and William (Katie) Dunnivant.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Somerville Road Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held today, Dec. 19, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with visitation from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral hom
