Joe Terry Rodgers, age 73 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, at his residence.
Joe was born on February 1, 1949 in Haleyville, Alabama. He enjoyed hunting, outdoors, Alabama football, and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville.
Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Rodgers; 3 daughters, Tammy Scruggs, Tina Williams (Tommy), and Trina Rodgers; brothers, Tony Rodgers, and Rayburn Rodgers; sisters, Vivian Nicholson, Gwen Scott, and Dean Hallman; grandchildren, Tyler Cole (Cassie), Kristin Spann (Drake), Levi Rodgers (Sky), and Cody Scruggs; great grandchildren, Caroline Scruggs, Mindy Claire Cole, Mya James Cole, and Jaxson Spann; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles D. and Annie Lou Rodgers; brothers, JW Rodgers, Tommy Rodgers, Jimmy Rodgers, and Edward Rodgers; and sisters, Thera Mae Defoor, and Clara Nell McClemore.
