Funeral services for Mr. Joe Ray Smith, age 74, are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday June 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beech River Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away Saturday in Lexington, TN. Mr. Joe was born 1950 in Henderson County, TN to the late William Floyd Smith and Lula Davis Smith. He was retired owner of Smith Grocery here in Lexington and lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include his wife of 51 years- Mrs. Patsy Ann Smith; one daughter- Robbie Wood (Derek); two sons- Bobby Smith (Holly) and Jeremy Smith (Melissa); three grandchildren- Josh Wood, Matthew Wood and Allison Smith; two sisters- Judy Hensley (late Randall) and Kathy Tubbs (Larry). He was preceded in death by two brothers- Randy Floyd Smith and Leroy Smith; three sisters- Sue Climer, Ruby Knight,and Shirley Mathis; and two granddaughters- Kimberly Ann Smith and Amelia Smith.
