Joe Page, 83, of Cherokee, Alabama (formerly of Homestead, FL), died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at his residence. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His family was his life. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM until 1 PM on Friday, September 20 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Patrick Gunn. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Matthew Berry, Bobby Page, Ronnie Page, James Earle, Ben Pope, and Wade Gray. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Myra Page of Cherokee, AL; 1 son – David Page of Royersford, PA; 1 daughter – Cindy Earle of Collierville, TN; 3 brothers – Clifford Page of Golden, MS; Jimmy Page of Burton, AL; and David Page of Cherokee, AL; 5 grandchildren – Rebecca Pope (Ben), Dana Page, Samantha Earle, James Earle, and Mallory Earle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, David William and Jennie Mae Page. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund or the Margerum Community Church.
