Mr. Joe Morris, age 70, passed away early Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home in Sardis. He was born November 15, 1955 in Memphis to the late Sue Morris. He was a member of Central Church of Christ in Decaturville. He retired from Nidec and enjoyed fishing and golf. He especially loved traveling with his grandkids.
Survivors include his son, Joe Morris II (Kisha); his daughter, Felicia Benson (Anthony); five grandchildren, Becca Jo Benson, Raya Benson, Sadie Grace Morris, Knox Morris, and Jack Benson; the mother of his children and special caregiver, Kelley Morris; and two sisters, Pam Robertson (Mark) and Sandi Wright (Matt).
Mr. Joe was preceded in death by his two sisters, Janie Brasher and Kay Caldwell.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Thursday, December 11, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Saltillo. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 12 – 9 PM and on Thursday 8 – 11 AM.
