Funeral services for Mr. Joe Martin Jones ” a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend” are scheduled for 4:30 pm Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Jones passed away Saturday night at his home. He was 66 years old and retired Line Foreman with Lexington Electric System(34 years), retired substitute US postal rural mail carrier(10 years), and Tennessee National Guard (23 years). Mr. Jones enjoyed spending time with his family, sports cars and tractors. Mr. Jones was Born in Henderson County to the late Rev. Earl Jones and Willie Martin Jones. He is survived by his wife Cookie Jones (46 years), son Greg Jones (Amy), two sisters- Earlene Kee (Earl Ray), and Carol J. Evans (Neal), and two grandsons- Collin and Landon Jones. He was preceded in death by one brother Harold Jones and one sister Barbara Jones.
