Joe M. Taylor, Jr. 95, of Huntsville, died Wednesday. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Brazelton Taylor, parents, and three brothers. He was a WWII veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.
Survivors include his son, Michael E. Taylor and wife, Debbie, of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Latham United Methodist Church with Pastor Hughey Reynolds officiating. Mr. Taylor will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
