Joe (JoJo) Hendrix Coleman, 83, of Corinth, MS, passed away the 29th of October, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 25, 1938 in Corinth, MS to LW (Bubba) Coleman and Willie Rea Coleman.
Joe was a 1957 Corinth High School graduate. He was a Mississippi State Alumni and was a very Avid MSU fan. You would NEVER catch him without him proudly wearing his Mississippi State Ball Cap.
Following college he was a teacher and coach for many years. Many may also remember his smiling face from the sporting goods department at Walmart.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn Jean Coleman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Michael Kevin (Tina) Coleman; daughter, Amanda Rea Mitchell; grandchildren, Annalese (Clay) Burns, Cortney Wilbanks, Margie Coleman, Clint Coleman, Mary (Dusty) Holcomb, and Jim Deaton; Great Grandchildren include Teagan Holcomb, Dayton Burns, Darby Burns, and Conley Jo; and many, many, many friends.
There will not be any memorial services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home on Bunch Street, Corinth, MS.
