It is with a great sadness, that Joe G. Johnson III passed away at Walker Baptist Health Center on January 29, 2025 at the age of 70. He was a retired coal miner who took pride in his work, liked to do things when he could, and loved watching sports.
He was preceded in death by his Father-Joe G. Johnson and Mother-Shirley Johnson of Jasper, Alabama.
He is survived by his Wife-Barbara Johnson of Jasper AL, Son-Joe Johnson (Heather Johnson) of Clarksburg MD, Grandchildren-Amanda and Aaron Johnson of Clarksburg MD, Sister-Jill Johnson of Huntsville AL, and special family member Cade Taylor of Jasper AL.
Joe will always be missed and loved by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
