Joe Franklin “Toe Joe” Franks, 70, of Florence, passed away June 2, 2014 at his residence. He was a member of Glendale Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Holland Creek Cemetery at Walnut Grove with Randal Michael officiating.
Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his parents, Homer “Joe” and Jessie Franks; brother, Troy Andrew Franks.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Patricia Ann Faulkner Franks; son, Timothy “Tim” Joe Franks (Sharon); daughters, Kimberly “Kim” Ann Greenhill (Doyle), Jessica Franks Harvey (Chris); sister, Marie Stowe (Charles); grandchildren, Jason and Hannah Harbin, Clay Greenhill, Heath and Erika Franks; great-grandchild, Alex Harbin.
Active pallbearers will be Barney Despigno, Wallace Hannon, Douglas Hargett, Charlie Lambert, David Jackson, Jason Harbin, Heath Franks, and Clay Greenhill.
L. R. Higgins and Charles Stowe will serve as honorary pallbearers.
