Joe Dover, age 77, left his earthy body on September 2, 2021.
He is now in the arms of the Lord with his precious daughter, Emily.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Leeta; his nephew, Steve Crawford (Barbara); of Jyvaskyla, Finland, his sister-in-law Mae Lee (Bruce); of Hayesville, North Carolina, his cousin Nina (Buzz); of Kennesaw, Georgia, and many, many dear friends.
Joe loved the Lord and he loved people. At every opportunity, he taught the good news of Jesus not only here but in foreign lands. He faithfully visited the sick and never refused an opportunity to help others. He brightened lives with his happy, fun-loving humor and sweet spirit.
Joe retired from Huntsville Utilities after 30 years of service.
