Joe Borden, Russellville, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the age of 77.
He lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Russellville.
Visitation will be today, November 6, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Thomas Loyd officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his children: daughters, Donna Mansell, Susan Borden, Karen McAfee; son, Joel Borden; grandchildren, Lee Fugate, Jennifer Fugate, Nikki Murray, Cody Mansell, Haley Mansell, MaKayla McAfee, Abby McAfee; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Baker, Noah Fretwell, Jase Fretwell, Emoree Murray, MaKenna Murray, Lennox Murray, Anna Grace Fugate and Emma Kate Fugate.
Pallbearers will include Lee Fugate, Mac McKellips, Cody Mansell, Ricky Fugate, Matt Murray, and Mack Mitchell. Honorary bearers will be Hunter Baker and Noah Fretwell.
Mr. Borden was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Borden; parents, Dewey Burl and Stella Leona Borden; and grandchildren, Adam and Lucas McAfee.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
