Jody Miller, 65, of Boaz passed away on Friday October 11, 2024, with her family by her side. Ms. Miller was born on October 20, 1958, to the late James Lewis Turner and Gladys Marie Gibson. Ms. Miller spent her years on this earth employed with Gold Kist in Boaz as a Security Guard. In addition to her work at Gold Kist she obtained years of schooling and in service in Criminal Justice, Private Investigator, a Teacher’s Aide, Bridal and Wedding Consultant. She was described to many as a loving, kind, and sweet mother, grandmother, and child of her lord and savior Jesus Christ. She would do anything for anyone no matter the task, she had all the love and adoration for helping and serving others.
Ms. Miller is preceded in death by her parents, James Lewis Turner and
Gladys Marie Gibson, her husband, Randall Miller Sr, and her siblings, Monroe Wesley Turner and Jackie Wayne Turner.
She is survived by her sons, Randall Miller Jr., Lawson Miller, and LeTroy Miller. Brothers and Sisters, Roger Turner, James Lee Turner, Stoney Lewis Turner, Shelia Kay Morrison, Doris Reed, and Mary Jean Guile.
Grandchildren, Gavin, Hannah, Lawson JR., Jackie, Jalsie, Luther, and Mary Lou.
Ms. Miller’s Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Sunday October 13, 2024
at Carr Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 5:00PM.
The family has chosen cremation. They ask that in Lieu of flowers to make
donations to Carr Funeral Home for her final expenses.
