Jodie Brown Profile Photo Jodie Brown, a beloved resident of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on March 1, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 25, 1956, in Tennessee to the late Tommy Hendrix and Pearl Hill.

Jodie was a unique and vibrant soul, known for her overwhelming love for animals. Her home was full of all different kinds of animals over the years including her special dog, Smokey and donkey, Taz. Jodie delighted in playing video games, with Mario Brothers being one of her favorites.

Jodie also cherished her moments of solitude, often found immersed in the pages of her bible. Reading and reflection brought her solace and spiritual fulfillment.

Television was another source of enjoyment for Jodie, with a particular fondness for western shows especially Wagon Train. Jodie enjoyed the time she got to spend time with her family and friends.

Jodie Brown was known for her strong-willed and independent nature, traits that defined her character throughout her life. Yet, despite her independence, she was a wonderful and loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to be part of her circle.

Jodie is preceded in death by her parents: Tommy Hendrix and Pearl Hill; husband: Bobby Brown; son: Keith Brown; siblings: Lewis Hill, James Hendrix, Billy Hendrix, and Christine Hill.

Jodie is survived by daughter-in-law: Deanna Brown; special grandsons: Nathaniel and Nicholas Reeves; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas and Nathaniel Reeves, Quinton Boshers, Michael Infield, Marshall Thaxton, and Dustin Boshers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bob King and Devin Massey.

A service for Jodie will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Jodie will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
