LIMESTONE COUNTY-On Saturday, May 30 one of Limestone County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an auto accident and rescued a child. Deputy Shannon Thrasher received a commendation. Here is how the Limestone Sheriff’s Office describe the event:
“On Saturday, May 30, Deputy Shannon Thrasher responded to an accident involving a single vehicle which was partially submerged underwater due to heavy rainfall. Deputy Thrasher quickly broke out a window and rescued a child that was trapped inside the submerged vehicle, saving the life of the child. Lieutenant Rhett McNatt and LCSO commend Shannon Thrasher for a job well done!”
