JoAnne Marks McDougal, age 60, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 9, from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gary Gooch officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
JoAnne was a member of Jacksonburg Church of Christ. She was former owner of Nannie’s Day Care and was a retired social worker. Mother was a person of strong character and was full of fun and joy and, above all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Marks.
Survivors are her mother, Elsie Marks; son, Jacob McDougal (Ashley); granddaughter, Riley Nicole McDougal; and sister, Madeline Tidwell.
