JoAnne F. Harrison, 81, of Dunwoody, Georgia formerly of Russellville went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 14, 2017.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial at Franklin Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
JoAnne was a master of many hobbies, including: cooking, baking, sewing, crafting, gardening, amongst others things. She had a true abundance of accomplishments and blessings in her life on this earth. She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed serving our Lord.
Survivors include her son, Mike Harrison (Diane); granddaughters, Jennifer Denton (Brian), and Jessica Killen (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Harrison Denton, Adelaide Denton, and Etta Margaret Killen (due August 2017); sisters, Carolyn Peggy Pirkle (Tommy), and Barbara Day (Lyle); best friend, Emogene Baker; and a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and card playing buddies.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Joe W. Harrison; and parents, Aldrich and Maggie Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society and Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
The joys of her life included being a wife to her valentine, a mother, a meemaw, and a great-meemaw. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. God has truly blessed her with a wonderful life.
