Joanne Adele Greene Quaif, 85, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Little Falls, New York, to Paul Schuyler Greene and Bertha Balberston Greene. Joanne loved traveling, shopping, and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. With a warm and welcoming spirit, she never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like family. She worked at Southern Gardens in Florida and retired from Sims Medical Supply. Later in life, she enjoyed several years working at Golden Manufacturing.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lori Quaif (Jimmy) and Mary Quaif; two sons, Jeff Quaif and Jerry Quaif; three grandchildren, Shawn Quaif, Nicole Borden (Michael), and T.J. Farris (Kaeleigh); eight great-grandchildren, Bentlee, Paisley, Jaxon, Kaelynn, Colyn, Gracie, Jenson, and Noah; and one sister, Sally Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garald H. Quaif; her parents; her stepmother, Annie Greene; two brothers, Paul and Bill; and one sister, Donna.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi, will be in charge of arrangements.
