Mrs. JoAnn Williams, age 85 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home. Born June 23, 1933 to Joe Woodfin and Bessie Rogers Woodfin, she is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Estil Williams, her sisters, Vivian Gover and Virgina Hogan and her brother, Bobby Woodfin.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Freda) Williams, Mike Williams and friend Ann Owens, Wade (Vickie) Williams, Jason (Vickie) Williams and one daughter, Carol (Ricky) Green; 11 grandchildren, Heather (Amory) Mays, Heath (Jenifer) Williams, Jonathan Williams, Courtney (Nathan) Tomberlin, Meghan (Jeffrey) Sherrill, Charis (Justin) Ritter, Audra Williams, Josh Green, Brittney (Andrew) Smith, Blake Williams and Tyler Williams; eleven great-grandchildren, Reid Mays, Caroline Mays, Grey Williams, Willow Tomberlin, William Tomberlin, Maddie Sherrill, Layla Sherrill, Carly Ritter, Brooklyn Ritter, Lauren Ritter and Clay Green; sisters, Sue (Bobby) Robinson, Linda (Lavon) Light; sisters-in-law, Annette Woodin, Bella Berryhill, Arlene Ledlow, Euelyn Williams, Dean Williams, Sherry Bassham, Patty Williams and Linda Cox; brothers-in-law, Frankie Williams, Stevie Williams and Kip Williams.

Services for Mrs. Williams will be at 1:00PM on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kenneth Hogan and Mark Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM -12:45PM prior to the service. Burial will be in O’Neal Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Williams’ grandsons and honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters.
