Funeral service for Joann Maddux Smith, 83, of Eva will be Monday July 18, 2016 at 2:00PM at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Monk officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday July 17, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died Friday July 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1933 in Morgan County to James Henry Maddux and Alene Ester Turney Maddux. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David H. Smith; brother, James C. “Buddy” Maddux and two grandchildren, Mandy Smith and April Smith.
