Mrs. Joan Wise Jennings age 74 of Scottsboro passed away on Friday January 6, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. Joan was a native of Jackson County growing up in the Martintown Community, and was
retired from Maples where she was a machine operator for many years.
Joan is survived by her husband Roy Jennings, her two daughters Carla Bradford, and Vickie (Troy) Swafford, Stepsons Heath (Angela) Jennings and Leath (Janna) Jennings, Grandchildren Blake Bradford, Brooke Moore, Bailey Bradford, Cody Barrett, Zachary Jennings, Jacey Jennings, Cayden Jennings, Emma Jennings, Isabella Jennings, Great Grandchildren; Jalen Bradford, Thomas Bradford, Jaxon Huges.
Her two brothers Carlos Wise, Joe Wise, and sister Betty (Bill) Cribbs and several nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Estel Joseph Wise and Dollie Mae Wise, brother Kenneth Wise.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2023, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama with Pastor Gregory Gilliam officiating. Rudder Funeral Home Scottsboro is assisting the family.
