Joan Marie Pelfrey Gilbreath, 66, of Double Springs, entered into rest Friday, May 23, 2014 at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Mrs. Gilbreath was born on October 4, 1947 in Haleyville. Joan was a loving mother of four and a devoted Pastor’s wife for 50 years. She very much loved her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 2-4pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 4pm. Reverend David Nelson and Reverend Roy Kilgore will officiate. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Gilbreath; sons, Anthony (Beth) Gilbreath, Ronnie Gilbreath; daughters, DeAnna (Todd) Studdard, Kim (Scott) Oliver; grandchildren, Hannah Studdard, Jacob Studdard, Abigail Gilbreath, Tres Gilbreath, Tate Gilbreath, Lindy Oliver and Sidney Oliver.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pernie Pelfrey.
