Joan Elizabeth Rose, age 78, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 26, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence at 2 p.m. with John Bradshaw officiating.
Ms. Rose was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Florence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blair and Emma Fohner, son, Michael Moore, brothers, Harold Shreve, Clair Fohner, Robert Fohner, and Ronald Fohner, and sisters, Juanita Yankura-Nesbit and Judithanne Fohner.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Moore, Kerry Moore (Barbara), Danny Moore (Martha), Dale Moore, and Jeff Moore (Melissa); daughter, Joyce Fellers; brother, Ralph Fohner; sisters, Emylie Odom and Kathleen Burton; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth for caring for their mother.
