Jo Lena Little, 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Pontotoc Health and Rehab. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her love of cooking and ensuring no one ever left her home hungry. Jo had a passion for reading, especially enjoying John Grisham books, and cherished the company of visitors. She will be remembered as a loving person who treated everyone equally, embodying the spirit of one of God’s true angels.
She is survived by her son, Dean Griffin and his wife Jeri Lynn; her daughter, Kathy Grizzle and her husband Chris; her sister, Bonnie Bullock; her grandchildren, Philip Dowdy, Cheri Hight and her husband Jared, Miranda Miller and her husband Matt, Dallas Griffin and his wife Josie, and Blake Griffin; and her thirteen great-grandchildren, Kiaya Grizzle, Avery, Eden, Jude, Ella Jane, and Luke Hight, Sydney, Lucas, and Jocelyn Miller, Joey and Jaxson Griffin, and Tessa and Annlynn Griffin. She also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Annie Lowes Fish; her sisters, Ardella Page, Georgia Bowan, and Sadie Rogers; her brothers, Bill Fish, Herman Fish, Huston Fish, and Kenny Fish; and two infant siblings.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Philip Jackson officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue until the service time. Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dean Griffin, Dallas Griffin, Blake Griffin, Jared Hight, Matt Miller, and Roy Page.
