Jo Frances Hobbs 87, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at home.
Born Tuesday, June 6, 1933 in Limestone County, AL she was the daughter of Otha M. McLemore and Ruby Dee Holland McLemore.
She was a member of Ardmore Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, When younger she loved to play softball and still loved playing cards and doing puzzles. She loved yard work, working in her flowers, and walking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Eugene “Penny” Hobbs; son, Anthony Gene “Amp” Hobbs; son-in-law, Tim Beddingfield; brothers, James McLemore, Howard McLemore, Billy McLemore, Morris McLemore, Tommy McLemore, Gerald Wayne McLemore, Roy McLemore; sisters, Marie Diller and Joyce Bryant; granddaughter, April Dawn Hobbs.
She is survived by her son, Ricky (Sharon) Hobbs, Athens, AL; daughter, Reshell Marie “Shell” Beddingfield, Ardmore, AL; brother, Raymond “Frog” (Linda) McLemore, Ardmore, AL; grandchildren, Chad (Mandy) Hobbs, Erica (Matt) Owen, Wendy Hobbs, Eric (Jennifer) Beddingfield, Valerie (Jody) Hall, Amber (Tim) Mischiara, James (Alicia) Walker, Timmy (Jennifer) Bedingfield; great granchildren, Brinley Sirten, Brady Sirten, Brooklyn Sirten, Lyndsey Owen, Ryleigh Beddingfield, Owen Davis, Sydney Hall, Lindsey Hall, Gracie Beddingfield, Mallory Beddingfield, Sadie Smith, Sarah Walker, and Abby Walker; great great grandson, Matthew Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at11:00 AM at Hasting Cemetery with Bro. Robert Fudge officiating.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
Due to the Covid-19 and The Statewide mandate Mask will be required and worn at all times when entering the building and while in our facility. Also must practice 6 ft. social distancing.
