Jo Ellen Wise Jones, age 74 of Huntland, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on February 17, 1946 to the late Olice and Mary Ellen (Baker) Wise. A dedicated homemaker most of her life, Jo Ellen raised five children and managed to run Quick Sak and the Ceramic Shop. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing craft projects. She was of the Methodist faith. Jo Ellen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-eight years, Parker Wayne Jones of Huntland; children, Sherry Jones of Huntland, Tina Brashier of Huntland, Jodie Jones of Huntland, Stacy (Coby) Edwards of New Market, Alabama, and Jason (Kim) Jones of Huntland; sisters, Judy (John) Porter of Winchester, Mary (Wayne) Branch of Nashville, and Joyce (Bobby) Dixon of Georgia; grandchildren, Whitney Jones, Jessica Riley, Marvin “Bubba” Jones, Kayla Miller, Chris Brashier, Dakota Miller, Leah Jones, Madison Edwards, Chezleigh Lappin, Chayse Davis, and Cameron Lappin; 6 great-grandchildren; and special little buddy, Max. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Bruce Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
