Jo Anne Poole, 62, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. She spent almost 20 years at Southern Motion in Pontotoc. Jo Anne dedicated her life to helping those in need, especially ones in addiction, her home was a sanctuary for the lost and broken. Always welcoming everyone into her life no matter who they were. Her dream was to open a rehab in Pontotoc with her friends and name it “One Lost Sheep”, even one lost sheep deserves to be found in the darkness. She was able to see that dream come true. She loved her family, church, and her dog Callie, who was by her side every day for the last 2 years.
Jo Anne is survived by her husband, Robert Larry Poole, Jr., her mother, Lougene Boland, Her stepfather, Don Boland, her sister, Jennifer McGreger, her brother, Steve Boland, her daughters, Latasha Renea Poole, Amber Street, Kayla McElhenney Hudson, Eden Galloway Griffith, and Amber George, her sons, Paul Conlee, Johnathan David Brady Poole, and Wade Chunn, numerous great nieces and great nephews, and her five granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Oliver Orr, her grandmother, Mildred Brown Morgan, and her favorite aunt, Carole Ball.
Pallbearers will be Cory Brown, Patrick Smith, Bentley Smith, Max McGreger, Jakob Garrison, Mason, Hester, Jeremy Raines, Gabriel Sudduth, and Braden Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
