  Jo Ann Pennington Frederick, 88, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at Courtyards Community Living Center in Fulton. She was born October 27, 1935 to the late Fessie Pennington and the late Rebecca Davis Pennington. She retired from Amory Garment factory after 35+ years of service. She was a member of Enon Primitive Baptist Church. Jo Ann enjoyed watching Mississippi State football, gardening, cooking caramel cakes, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. After her retirement from Amory Garment factory, she was known for her biscuit making ability’s at McDonalds.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Thursday February 29, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Minister Brady Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Wiygul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday February 28, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her son: Tim (Sheila) Frederick of Fulton, grandsons: Timothy Lee (Katie) Frederick of Madison, MS, and Corey Manuel (Sherry) Frederick of Mt. Juliet, TN, great grandchildren: Timothy Cole Frederick, Hannah Elizabeth Frederick, Lily Ruth Frederick, and Lochlan Manuel Frederick, sisters: Betty Jean Robinson of Fulton, and Brenda Kay Gilmore of Amory, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fessie and Rebecca Pennington.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Frederick, Corey Frederick, Kirk Robinson, Jeff Reeder, Steve Wardlaw, and Jerry Davis.
