Jimmy Willard Sparks, 82, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at his home. He was employed at Dossett in Tupelo at the time of his passing. He always enjoyed working and helping others. He had a big heart and spent his entire life always giving to others in any way he could and was always there for anyone who needed him. He was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Belmont.
A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at a later date. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
Survivors are his wife, Rita Sparks; his son, Kevin Sparks (Jeannie); his daughter, Vicki Malone (Anthony); grandchildren, Greta Huffman, Erika Malone Tubbs, Alexa White, Brittany West, Austin Malone and Skylar Sparks; five great-grandchildren; one brother, David Sparks; two sisters, Barbara Jarnigan and Charlotte Hester and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Sparks; his mother, Florene Sparks; his father, Jessie Sparks and four brothers, Paul, Kelly, Phillip and Donnie Sparks.
