Mr. Jimmy Wayne Dunn, of Union Grove, Alabama, passed away at his residence on his 58th birthday, Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Mr. Dunn was born to J.B. Dunn and Evelyn Pauline Donaldson Dunn June 5, 1964 in Marshall County, Alabama. Mr. Dunn was employed by Marshall Medical Center North where he worked in the maintenance department as a custodian. Jimmy spent his spare time attending antique car shows, working in his yard attending his flowers, supporting Alabama football and visiting family and friends.
Jimmy is survived by his loving family; father and step mother, J.B. and Diane Dunn; sisters, Evelyn Marie Dunn, Loretta Pauline Bryant and Karen Denise (Tim) Wright; step sisters, Kathy Bennefield (Jimmy), Lisa Byler (Val), Maranda Morrow (Bryan), Debbie Cryar (Randy), and Sandra Justice; step brother, Michael Floyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Dunn.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. The funeral service to honor Jimmy will also be at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel but it will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in the Center Grove community. Brother Vernon Alvis will be officiating. Pallbearers aiding Jimmy to his final resting place will be Steve Bohanan, Mikki Bohanan, Sean Bohanan, Val Byler, Matthew Farley, and Jimmy Williams.
