Funeral services for Jimmy Slack, 92, of Tishomingo, MS are set for Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2pm at New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 11am-2pm at New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church. Bro. Jack Whitley will officiate the service. Rev. Bobby Johnson will do the committal. Pallbearers will be Brady Anglin, Harrison Anglin, Conor Baker, Elton Maness, Tyler Slack and Perry Anglin. Honorary pallbearer will be Leland Lambert. Born September 6, 1931, Jimmy passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a retired foreman for Intex with 32 years of service. Jimmy was a  faithful member of New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite past time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and gardening. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 73 years, Earlene Slack; sons. Kenny Slack and Chris Anglin (Scarlett); daughter, Cindy Maness (Randy); 8 grandchildren, Tricia Baker (Conor), Tyler Slack (Kaytelyn), Renee Gray (Benjamin), Elton Maness (Holly), Kayla Lambert (Leland), Tiffany Lambert (Rusty), Brady Anglin and Harrison Anglin (Morgan); 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Julie Slack; father, Luther Slack; mother, Effie Slack and his brothers, Clete Parker and Joe Parker.
