Funeral service for Jimmy Sivley, 78, will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J. Wayne Penn and Rev. Greg Alred officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Sivley died on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 26, 1935, in Lawrence County to Monroe Guy Sivley and Jimmie Lou (Buttram) Sivley. Mr. Sivley was a member and deacon of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, he was a member of the Morgan County Cattleman’s Association and a member of the Antique Tractor Club. He was formerly employed by International Paper Company and Monsanto as a Millwright, and did farming. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Wayne and M.G. Sivley, Jr.
Survivors include : his Wife, Marie (Walker) Sivley, Hartselle, AL Two Sons: Greg Sivley (Tara), Hartselle, AL and Tim Sivley (Stacey), Cullman, AL
Three Sisters: Peggy Hightower, Hartselle, AL, Jean Minor, Hartselle, AL, and Sue Payne, Hartselle, AL
Three Grandchildren: Taylor Sivley, Trent Sivley, and Tad Sivley
