A Celebration of Life Service for Jimmy Robbins, 81 of Rienzi, MS, will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Juliette Cemetery in Rienzi, MS. Rev. Merl Dixon and Charlie Browning will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Friday, February 2, 2018 from 11:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Robbins passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 22, 1937 in Waterloo, AL to Hulet Robbins and Minnie Parker Robbins. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Tobes Chapel Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved quilting and was a avid sports fan. He enjoyed talking to everybody he met and never met a stranger. He was loved by all that knew him. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nelda Killough Robbins of Rienzi, MS; son, Jimmy Bryan Robbins and wife Colleen of Rienzi, MS; daughter, Lynn Wilburn and husband Tony of Corinth, MS; 6 grandchildren, Tyler Robbins, Craig Wilburn, Bryce Robbins, Kylie Robbins, Morgan Stephens and husband Zack and Justin Wilburn and wife Lauren; 7 great-grandchildren, Lexi Wilburn, Mollie Grace Willis, Caden Robbins, Landon Willis, Eli Robbins, Allissa Wilburn and Destiny Wilburn; sisters, Shirley Rorie of Jackson, MS, Ola Mitchell of Hartwell, GA, Helen Gray and husband Jimmy of Adamsville, TN, Beatrice Rorie and husband Richard of Rienzi, MS, Mary Spencer of Corinth, MS, Retha Spencer and husband Jimmy of Corinth, MS, Letha Womble of Corinth, MS and Sarah Whittemore of Rienzi, MS; special friends, Jimmy Burcham and wife Michelle and Clifford Norton and wife Ann; numerous nieces, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hulet Robbins; his mother, Minnie Parker Robbins; his brothers, John J. Robbins and William Henry Robbins; his sisters: Susie Killough, Roxie Burcham and Joyce Killough. Pallbearers will be Tyler Robbins, Bryce Robbins, Craig Wilburn, Justin Wilburn, Donovan Willis and Zack Stephens. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jimmy Robbins.
