Jimmy Raymond “Red” Geans, Sr., 63, of Waterloo, passed away June 14, 2017 at his residence. He attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Paul Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Geans was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Belle Geans; brothers, James and William Geans; and a sister, Reba Sue Allen.
He is survived by his special friend, Shelly Jones; sons, Jimmy Geans, Jr. (Aida), and Jason Geans; brothers, Henry Perry (Joyce), Donnie Geans, Dale Geans (Judy), and Bobby Geans (Sharon); sister, Carol Bevis (Jimmy); and grandchildren, Destiny, Cory, Dalina, Raedawn, and Pyper Geans.
Active pallbearers will include: Tim Perry, Tim McCabe, Will Watts, Michael Bailey, William Bailey, and Nicholas Williams.
Steve Perry, Phillip Allen, JC Cunningham, Russell Bridges, and Tony Jeans will serve as honorary pallbearers.
