Jimmy Ray Washington, age 82, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at ECM Hospital.

Jimmy Ray was considered a hero to his whole family.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Derek Washington speaking. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Oliver Washington; daughter, Rosemary Washington Miller; step-son, Kenny Oliver; parents, Kirk & Bessie (Horton) Washington; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Melisha Washington; grandchildren, Shane Vandiver, Genus Miller, Stephany Dawn Crittenden; great-grandchildren, Peyton Crittenden, Mason Crittenden, Colton Crittenden, Triston Vandiver, Harley Vandiver, Draven Vandiver, Connor Miller, Brady Miller, Garrett Miller; brother, James Washington; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
