JIMMY RAY (SMILEY) WHITE
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 21, 1947 the son of the late Oscar and Betty Northcutt White.
On November 24, 1995 he was united in marriage to Georgia Carol Bancroft, who survives.
Smiley as he was known by everyone retired from the Waste Management Department. He also had worked for Sweetheart Cup Company in Chicago, Illinois, Cable Company in Jackson, Tennessee and he did some lawn service. Mr. White loved playing music and serving God through his music.
He departed this life on November 21, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 66 years and 8 months
In addition to his wife of 17 years, Georgia White, he is survived by his children, Anthony White of Adamsville, Tennessee, Terry Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee, Jennifer Boylen of Crump, Tennessee, Gary Stricklin of Adamsville, Tennessee, Shane Holden of Fresno, California and Tommy Holden of Fresno, California
Mr. White is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren
three sisters, Ruth Lewis of Crump, Tennessee, Mattie Perkins of Adamsville, Tennessee and Tootle White of Water Valley, Mississippi
one brother, Jerry White of Savannah, Tennessee
and several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Donald Glen Holden, one sister, Mamie Qualls and one brother, Junior White
Memorial service will be held at a later date
