Funeral services for Jimmy Lynn Grissom, age 77, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 30th at Christ Community Church in Henderson, Tennessee with Bro. Mike Rickenbaker officiating. Burial will follow at the Center Hill Baptist Cemetery outside of Lexington.
Mr. Grissom, the son of the late Evard and Jewell McBride Grissom, died Friday, May 27, 2022 at his residence. He was retired from Southwest Electric and enjoyed many activities such as fishing, traveling and camping with his family, gardening and going to church.
Family was important to Jimmy and was blessed to be survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Jane Stead Grissom, a daughter Lori Floyd and her husband Derek, a son Brent Grissom and his wife Michelle, and grandchildren: Kayla, Carson, Emma, Levi, Ella and Anna. Jimmy was one of five brothers and sisters and is survived by his sisters: Janice Buck (Gene), Judy Hayes (Paul) and Charlene Duke; and his brother, Dennis Grissom (Patsy).
