Jimmy Leon Roden, 77, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Wendell Olive and Jimbo Dowdel officiating. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence.
Jimmy attended the Cowboy Church of Colbert County and was a past volunteer fireman with the Tuscumbia Fire Department. He retired in 2001 from the Muscle Shoals School System. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Roden, and parents, Dee and Thelma Roden.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Susan Hauerwas (Steve) and Michael Roden (Joni); grandchildren, Matt Thompson, Mary Hauerwas, and Paisley Roden; bonus grandchildren, Benji, Josh, and Justin Hauerwas; and several great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
