Jimmy Lee Harmond, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 14, 1944, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Brown and Orlean Jones Harmond. He was a Tool & Die Engineer and a member of the Baptist faith. His hobbies included woodworking, riding motorcycles, and playing the saxophone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Harmond, six brothers, David, Jerry, Larry, Ronnie, Donnie, and Paul Harmond, and a sister, Linda Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cathy Hargrove Harmond; daughter, Renee (Cliff) Vines of Lewisburg; son, Sam (Angelina) Harmond of California; daughter-in-law, Stacey Harmond of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Caleb and Sarah Harmond and Andrew, Sam and Seth Vines.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Short Cemetery.
