Jimmy L. Allen, age 89, Rogers, Arkansas formerly of Haleyville, AL. passed away Wednesday August 14, 2019. He was born in Hackleburg, Alabama on August 2, 1930 to Delmar and Lillie
Visitation will be Saturday August 17, 2019 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 3:00PM in the chapel, with Britnell Sartin and Lowell Sartin officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Hackleburg, AL.
He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, Junior, John L. and Jaycee; three sisters, Ella, Marveline and Alice; two sons, Danny Lee Allen and Jackie Allen.
He is survived by one brother, Billy Dale; two sisters, Kay Frances and Annie Lou; several nieces and nephews; three sons, Jeff Allen of Nashville, TN., Michael (Tina) Allen of Dickson, TN. and Marty Allen of Dickson, TN.; three daughters, Becky (Lowell/Buster) Sartin of Rogers, AR., Laurie (Gary) Boyd of Rogers, AR. and Melody (Kel) Plasket of Nashville, TN.; daughter in law, Becky Allen; 9 grandchildren, Landon Sartin, Dell Sartin, Amber Duley, Mark Sartin, Grant Boyd, Shawn Allen, Sonia Allen, Slade Allen and Britnell Sartin; a host of great grandchildren; a well as step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
