Jim Clemmons, Jr. Jimmy “Jim” Dean Clemmons, Jr., 64, of Killen, passed away June 13, 2026, at his residence. He was the seed production manager for Clemmons & Hamner Seed Inc. Jim served as ranch manager for the Seed Farms Registered Angus Herd and as co-owner of Danglin C Cattle. Jim was most passionate about his grandchildren – Rowe and Coltley, who each pursue interests they inherited from him. He loved watching Rowe participate in football and baseball. He was ecstatic about Coltley reaching the finals in Little Britches rodeo. He was also a member of North Carolina Church of Christ. Jim was a devoted and supportive member of a wide variety of agricultural boards and associations, including: – Current President of Tennessee Crop Improvement Association – Member of the Lauderdale County Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisory Board – Rogers High School FFA Advisory Board – Past Board Member of Lauderdale County, AL, Farmer’s Federation – Member of Lauderdale County, AL, Alabama Cattlemen’s Association – Member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association – Member of the American Angus Association – 1999 DuPont Young Leaders State “Farmer of the Year” Survivors include: Wife: Rhonda Lenise Chandler Clemmons Son: Colt Clemmons (Sydni) Brothers: Barry Clemmons (Lynn) & Scott Clemmons (Mandy) Sisters: Emily Henry (Vaughn) & Suzy Michael (Greg) Grandchildren: Colton Rowe Clemmons & Coltley Danielle Clemmons Preceded in death by: Parents: Jimmy Dean Clemmons, Sr. & Trixie Elaine Foster Clemmons Son: Daniel Armon Clemmons Grandparents: Bradley Braxton Clemmons & Gertis Stutts Clemmons Lonnie D. Foster & Willie Wakefield Foster Visitation will be on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at North Carolina Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, at the church, with Brian Smith, Bro. Tim Grigsby, & Greg Hamner officiating. Burial will be at North Carolina Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rowe Clemmons, Benson Hamner, Chandler Kelley, John Clemmons, Taylor Scott & Zeth Tays. Honorary pallbearers will be: Barry Clemmons, Scott Clemmons, Vaughn Henry, Greg Michael, Randy Wilson, Kevin Chandler, Blake Chandler, Keith Arnold, Mark Carrol, Dennis Wiley, Carl Hamm, Steve Poss & Kevin McLaughlin.
