‘Jimmy’ James E. Miller Sr., age 82 of Union Chapel, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
Jimmy was married for 62 years to his loving wife Hilda. He loved being a trucker all his life and became an avid race fan. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Barry Lombard will officiate.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his Father-Walter ‘Ed’ Miller; Mother-Helen Miller; Parent-in-laws-John Thomas Sullivan and Mattie Sullivan; Precious Granddaughter that he loved with all his heart-Ricki Jill Smith.
He is survived by his Wife-Hilda F. Miller; Daughter-Lisa Miller Smith (Ricky Smith); Son-Jay Miller (Angie Miller); Sister-Debra Woodley; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
