Memorial Services for Jimmy Hill, age 75 of Arab, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Joppa Church of God, with Bro’s. Jimmy Hamaker, Larry Guthrie & Wade Franks officiating. Cullman Funeral Home directing.
Jimmy was born on January 1, 1941 to the late Marion A. Hill & Johnnie Willie Collier Hill; he passed away on January 21, 2016 at Marshall Medical Center. He was a member of the Joppa Church of God; served in the United States Airforce and was a retired construction worker. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, a previous wife, Patsy Waldrop Hill; an infant son, David Alan Hill; three sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his Loving Wife of 3 ½ years – Betty Sullivan Hill; Daughter – Kellie G. Rodgers of Scottsboro; Grandson – Fletcher Poland of Starkville, MS; and one Sister – Johnnie Hestla of Cullman; and a loving church family and a host of friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The church is located on Hwy 69 between Arab & Joppa.
