Jimmy Glenn Melton Sr. was born in Henderson County, Tennessee on September 12, 1947 the son of Mavie Nadell Brewer Melton and the late James Eli Melton.
Mr. Melton was an self employed real estate investor. He also had worked for Decaturville Sportswear and his first job was selling Singer Sewing Machines.
Mr. Melton departed this life on July 21, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Mr. Melton is survived by his children, Jimmy Glenn Melton, Jr. of Lexington, Tennessee, Linda Dianne Bartholomew of Wildersville, Tennessee, James Cooper Melton of Lexington, Tennessee and Jimmy James (J. J.) Melton of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
