Jimmy Eugene Stephens, Sr., 87, passed away on November 18, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1934 in Amory, MS to Alvey Poe Stephens and Julia Mae Ledbetter Stephens. Jimmy was in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Family graveside service will be held at Mullin Cemetery in Nettleton.
He is survived by 4 children and their spouses, George Stephens, Stephanie Menne, Jimmy Stephens Jr, and John Stephens. He leaves three sisters Mary, Sue and Juanita and one brother John, as well as a host of nieces and nephews; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; the mother of his children; one son, Jimmy Renee Stephens; and one daughter, Patricia Mae Kizer.
