Funeral for Jimmy Dee White, 75, of Trinity will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Mayes officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. White, who died Saturday, January 4, 2014, was born May 20, 1938, in Lawrence County to the late James Homer and Nellie White. He worked at Amoco Chemicals for 30 years. He was a charter member of Mount View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Ready White; two sons, Ricky White and Thearse Dollar of Trinity and Thomas White and Sheila of Decatur; one daughter, Rachel McCleskey and Paul of Decatur and Markeeta Dunn of Hinesville, Ga.; one brother, Hubert White of Hillsboro; two sisters, Ira “Poodle” Gray and Anna Goode, both of Hillsboro; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
